Founding ants is often the trickiest step in any ant keeper's journey. Test tubes dry out, providing protein and sugar water is difficult, and smaller species might not be as comfortable in spacious 16mm test tubes as big Camponotus. The Founding 4×4 makes it easy. Provide 4mL of water to the well once a week, put food in the outworld, and choose a nest insert sized to your species. As your colony grows, expansion is simple. With sliding doors and KeySnap doorways built-in, easily upgrade your setup by connecting to any of our FlexGrid Nests or Outworlds.

Returns are accepted within 28 days of delivery on unused items — return shipping is the customer's responsibility. If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days and we'll send a free replacement. All products are covered by a 1-year warranty against damage under normal ownership, including accidental breakage. Unauthorized modifications are not covered.
