Founding ants is often the trickiest step in any ant keeper's journey. Test tubes dry out, providing protein and sugar water is difficult, and of course smaller species might not be as comfortable in spacious 16mm test tubes as big camponotus. That changes here. Provide 3mL of water once a week, and your ants will never dry out. Expansion is easy, with sliding doors and KeySnap ports built into the outworld and nest sides, allowing you to easily upgrade your setup to connect with any of our FlexGrid Nests or Outworlds. Customize with not only different colors, but size options for both small and large species.

NOTE: the micro-species slider is recommended for species SMALLER than solenopsis invicta/geminata, tetramorium immigrans, carebara diversa, or lasius neoniger. They are not necessary for these species, or any that are larger.

Returns are accepted within 28 days of delivery on unused items — return shipping is the customer's responsibility. If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days and we'll send a free replacement. All products are covered by a 1-year warranty against damage under normal ownership, including accidental breakage. Unauthorized modifications are not covered.
